The term ‘runcible spoon’ is, in fact, one of Lear’s own creations, with which the owl and the pussycat “dined on mince and slices of quince”. They are made from sterling silver and come in a polished finish. All stud posts and butterfly earring backs are made from sterling silver.
Approximate dimensions: Spoon 1.5cm long x 5.5mm wide; Runcible 5mm high, 1.9cm long, text size 2.5mm high
